Parker, Mitchell J. age 43 of Hamilton, Ohio beloved son and grandson passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at 8:45A.M. after only a three week illness. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 17, 1972, the son of Robert and Sandra (Stewart) Parker and was a 1991 graduate of Hamilton High School. Although Mitchell had a struggle all his life with a debilitating illness, he still found happiness with his hobbies. He enjoyed going to the library, collecting DVD's, playing video games, and watching wrestling on TV. He loved seeing his friends at Walgreen's, Kris Kupper at the computer store, going to Wal-mart and Game Stop, and the staff at HCC and TLC, a special nurse Cheryl. He had a tremendous love for his mother and grandmother. He referred to his mother as his "best friend" who took care of him all his life with the struggles of his illness. He will be greatly missed by his mother, Sandra Parker, grandmother, LaVerne Stewart, and a very special friend he called "Grandpa Scott."

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Parker; grandmother, LaVerne Stewart; sisters, Traci (Aaron) Vaughn, Stacey Parker (Chris) Edom, Rikki Fuchs, and nieces and nephews all of Marion, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Parker; grandfather, William Stewart; grandfather, Robert Parker Sr.; grandmother, Leona Parker; uncle, John Parker.

Thanks to the wonderful Doctors and Nurses at Fort Hamilton Hospital who took such great care of Mitchell.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM at the Zion Lutheran Church, 212 S Front Street Hamilton, Ohio 45011, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00PM Sunday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church or to the family to defray medical expenses.
