GARROD, Nadine M. age 81 of Hamilton, died Monday, June 30, 2008 in Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Okeana, Ohio on October 16, 1926 the daughter of John and Edna (Misner) Bittinger and attended the Morgan Township schools. Nadine was married to Orville "Tiny" Garrod for twenty-nine years and he preceded her in death on April 15, 1973. To this union a son was born, Roger Lee Garrod who also preceded her in death on September 13, 1991. She had worked at the Estate Stove Co., in her teen years and for Ft. Hamilton Hughes Hospital for thirty-eight years, retiring in 1992. Nadine later worked at McDonald for four years and was loved by all.

Survivors include two granddaughters, Christa (Greg) Sigman and Rev. Beth (Josh) Garrod-Logsdon; two special great granddaughters, Sarah and Hannah Sigman; a sister, Mary Reasch; one brother, Walter (Shirley) Bittinger; two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Bittinger and Elnora Bittinger; several nieces and nephews; one special friend of thirty-four years, Gene McCracken.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Rev. Edwin R. Beck officiating, followed by burial in Millville Cemetery.
