GABRIELSON, Norene age 79 of Fairfield passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Hospice of Cincinnati. She was born in Walkersville, West Virginia on July 1, 1937, the daughter of Dencil and Lucy (Harris) Craig. Norene attended George Washington University in Washington D.C. On February 21, 1957, in Washington D.C. she married Richard O. Gabrielson and he preceded her in death on May 25, 2012. Mrs. Gabrielson was a fingerprint technician for the F.B.I. in Washington D.C., secretarial staff at the U.S. Senate and worked in the accounting department at Champion International in Hamilton, Ohio. She was a member of Lindenwald United Methodist Church. Norene enjoyed gardening and visiting nursing homes. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include two daughters, Diane Gabrielson (Robert) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Pamela (Peter) Pellizzari of Cary, Illinois; three grandchildren, Loren Lascon, Julia and Peter Pellizzari; two great-granddaughters, Gianna and Kennedy Lascon; two brothers, Donald (Bernice) and Charles (JoAnne) Craig; many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Richard she was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Oral and Frank Craig; a sister, Zula Craig.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30am-10:30am Tuesday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash, Ohio.
