Patricia G. Beckerman, age 89 of Hamilton,OH, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Majestic Care of Middletown. She was born November 20, 1936 in Gouverneur, NY the daughter of Edith Bacon & Lloyd Dunning.

Patty had a zest for life and was always chasing her next adventure. She loved gardening and could be happy just about anywhere if she had a patch of dirt to dig in. She almost always had a cup of coffee in hand and enjoyed nothing more than sitting on a deck or porch, sharing conversation and laughter with friends or family. She loved music, never passing up an excuse to dance, and found joy in crafting, especially sewing and crocheting.

Patty was a survivor who worked hard throughout her life. She possessed a remarkable strength, balanced by a deep sense of compassion and kindness. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and her generous spirit touched the lives of many. She spent many years as a beautician before earning her bachelor's degree and pursuing a career in case management. Her natural desire to help others found a special purpose in this work, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Patricia is survived by one sister, Gloria Weldon and nephew Todd Murray, her children, Elizabeth "Lisa" Gutierrez, Larry "Giz" Gutierrez, Lorrie Gutierrez, Michelle (Carl) Perkins, and Rene' (Dusty) Rawlings; her grandchildren, Angelina (Edward) Young, Romanita (Richard) Botello, Martha (James) Horahan, Karla (Zoe Guthrie) Gutierrez, Larry Gutierrez, Tricia Mares, Steven (BayLee) Mares, Danielle (Chris) Hagenbart, Bobbi (Corbin) Keener, Mitchell Perkins, Nicole, Sydney & Eric Rawlings; her great-grandchildren, Michael, Jesse & Alyssa (Pete) Botello, Tristyn, Koraleigh, Jackstyn, Johnathan, & Bennett Gutierrez, Lennox Guthrie, Alexander Miranda, Damien Mares, Kaylen & Jazlyn White, Asher Mares, Eidon & Aeryn Hagenbart, Cash & Oslo Keener; and great-great grandchildren Isabelle & Iziah Botello.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wallace & Edith Deitz, her beloved aunts Keitha Woodall, Alice Cole, and Vera Ray, her son Tomas and his father Raul Gutierrez, and her husband Robert Beckerman.

Grave-side services will be held by the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home at Evergreen Cemetery in Henderson, NY on November 14th at 2 PM.
