Obituary

Patricia Ann Greulich (nee Manley) aka Grandma Peaches was born May 18, 1935 and passed from this life on April  22, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Catherine Manley and her beloved husband William (Bill) Greulich.  She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Mark and Carol Manley and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law David and Ginny Greulich.  She is also survived by her children Laura Johnson, Chris Zettler (Tom), Mike Greulich (Barb), Marty Santos (Dan) and Paul Greulich (Kelly). She is also survived by her grandchildren Andrew Rundell (Brittany), Jenny Brogdon (Jeremy), Tommy Zettler (Brittany), Stephen Rundell (Trey), Anna Santos, Allie Zettler (Luke Henry), Michael Greulich (Shannon), Daniel Santos (Kevin), Joseph Greulich (Natalie), Jack Santos, Caroline Fitzgerald (Sean), Katherine Evans (Louis), Hannah Greulich, Patrick Johnson (Anh). She is also survived by her great grandchildren Emma, Max, Tate, Addy, Aidan, Trip, David, Marie, Piper, Brooks, Bryce, Mikey, and Elizabeth.

Patricia, Patty, Pat was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, homemaker, teacher and a fantastic friend.  She valued education and attended Cardinal Pacelli School, St. Ursula High School and Mount St. Joseph College.  She finished her education as an adult with a bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville and master's degree from Xavier University and taught for several years at Terrace Park Elementary School. She was a huge sports fan and loved the Reds, Bengals and Xavier University Basketball as well as professional tennis.  She loved being active, playing tennis and taking long walks, especially in her second home of Naples, FL.  She also loved religion, politics, music and the arts, nature, volunteering and acts of service and introduced her children and grandchildren to these things.  She was a remarkable caregiver to Bill especially in his final months. She loved and was loved and there is no greater gift.

A special thanks to her long-time caregivers at Marjorie P. Lee and in her final days her caregivers from Queen City Hospice.  In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for the Alzheimer's Association.

A funeral Mass will be offered 11:00am Wednesday May 15, 2024 in the Bellarmine Chapel, 3801 Francis Xavier Way Cincinnati, Ohio 45207,  followed by a private family inurnment service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
