STITZEL, Patricia Jean (Fea) "Patsy Jean" age 84 of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday December 3, 2013 in Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Detroit Michigan on February 8, 1929 to the late Kenneth Fea and Marjorie Fea. On June 24, 1950 in St Stephen Church Hamilton, Ohio she married Edwin G. Stitzel.
Mrs. Stitzel graduated from Miami University with an Associate's degree in Nursing in 1977 and Bachelor's in Nursing in 1984 and worked until retirement from University Hospital's NICU and Labor and Delivery Unit. She was a master seamstress and gourmet cook. She loved to sing in Sacred Heart Parish Choir where she was a lifelong, devoted member.
She was a loving wife to Husband, Edwin Stitzel and devoted mother to children Dianne Ninke, the late Erick Stitzel ( Linda) Suzan (James) Strayer, LeeAnne Gfroerer, Marianne Stitzel-Wahle, Maureen Orozco, Timothy Stitzel, Janet Whitney, and Edwin (Kelly) Stitzel, 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; Sister to Elizabeth Whitesel, Elaine Crippin, Judith Bergh, and Robert (Naomi) Fea. She also had many loving sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, step-brothers and sisters and loving step-mother, Virginia Fea.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am Saturday December 7th, in Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd. Fairfield, Ohio with Fr. Larry Tharp, Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:30am, Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart School Tuition Assistance Program or Alzheimer's Research.
