SUNNENBERG, Patricia L. age 76 of Fairfield died Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 31, 1935, the daughter of Donald L. and Cecilia (Vorwoldt) Carroll. On February 25, 1954, in Anniston, Alabama she married Richard A. Sunnenberg. Mrs. Sunnenberg worked as a bridal consultant and also was a group leader at Recovery Inc. of Fairfield. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Legion of Mary. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; six children, Sheila (Tom) Munafo-Kanzoa of West Chester, Julie (Jerry) Schrock of Sarasota, FL, Jennifer (Francis) Lutterbie of Hamilton, Richard (Rhonda) Sunnenberg of Middletown, Bridget (Brian) Haverland of Fairfield, and Kris (Brandy) Sunnenberg of Hamilton; fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, with one great-grandchild on the way; a sister, Nancy (Robert) Meyer; a cousin, Fr. Jim Vorwoldt S.J.; many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday in Sacred Heart Church 400 Nilles Rd. Fairfield, Ohio with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Family will receive friends in the church's Narthex (lobby) from 9:30-10:00 am Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Recovery of Chicago, the American Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes, or Companions on a Journey Grief Support through any First Financial Bank.
