ASHDOWN, Paul F. age 61 of Fairfield, died Thursday, October 2, 2008 at his home. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 25, 1947 the son of Charles and Eula (Burer) Ashdown. He had been self employed as a truck driver.

Survivors include his father, Chuck Ashdown; four children, Christine Powell, Paula (Willie) Prater, Paul J. (Melissa) Ashdown, and Mark C (Stacey) Ashdown; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, C. Mark (Jenny) Ashdown; a sister, Charlotte (Tom) Schwartz; three step children, Jasmine Strand, Josh Walter and Joel Walter.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother; and sister, Rose Ann Woodbridge; grandparents, Paul and Elizabeth (Miller) Burer and Rose Caufield.
