Obituary

JOHNSON, Paul age 90 of Hamilton, died Tuesday November 6, 2012 in Ft. Hamilton Hospital. He and his twin brother Palmer were born to John and Ella Johnson, in Winchester, Kentucky on April 13, 1922. They served in the US Army Air force during WWII, stationed in Trinidad. Paul attended Miami University in Oxford where he earned a Masters Degree in Education. He was a teacher and principal in the Hamilton City Schools. While at Miami he met Joyce Frick. They were married on December 18, 1948 and had three sons. Paul was a life Member of the American Legion, the AMVETS, and the V.F.W.

He leaves his wife, Joyce; sons, Bradford (Linda Anderson) and Raymond (Diane) Johnson; two grandsons, Steve Johnson and Brian (Krista) Johnson; three great grandchildren; a brother, L. Kendall (Irma) Johnson, of Dania, Florida; a sister, Imogene (Paul) Hershner of Columbus, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Wayne Johnson; Brothers, Buford, Oscar (Spike), Palmer, and Si; sisters, Ruth Goodwin and Dorothy Mayer.
