Prescova “Pepsi” Wroot, age 85 of Fairfield, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born April 14, 1941, the daughter of Cecil & Fern (Hoskins) Woods. On April 27, 1967, she married Robert Wroot in Oxford, OH.
Pepsi worked as an Educational Assistant with Fairfield City Schools for 18 years. She then retired to take care of her grandchildren. Outside of her work, she found her greatest joys in the simple things she loved most. Anna Maria Island was her happy place, where she could relax and enjoy the beach. She had a special love for gardening and her flowers, finding happiness in watching them bloom. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, who brought her the greatest joy. She will be remembered for her loving heart, the beauty she brought into the lives of those around her, and the precious memories she leaves behind.
Besides her husband Robert, Pepsi was also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Eddie (Rhonda) Woods.
She is survived by her two children, Shelley & Michael (Tammy) Wroot; her siblings, Kenny (Donna) Woods, Faye Hueslman, Chester (Connie) Woods, Pam (Benz) Halter, and Gary (Kelly) Woods; and her two grandchildren, Tanner & Troy Wroot.
A visitation will be held Thursday, October 22, 2026 from 10:00-11:00am in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on October 22, also in the Zettler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
