DONNER, Ralph H. age 85 of Fairfield, died Saturday evening, May 22, 2010 in Hospice of Hamilton. He was born on June 14, 1924 in Danzig, North Dakota the son of Walter and Rose (Benkendorf) Donner and served in the US Army during WWII. On December 1, 1946 in Whisek, North Dakota he married Erna Kaseman and she preceded him in death January 9, 2010. Mr. Donner was a self employed Plumber operating Donner Plumbing for nearly fifty years, retiring in 1998. He was a member and Past President of the Fairfield Civitan Club as well as a fifty year member of the American Legion Post # 138.

Survivors include his five children, Gail (Irene) Donner, of Fairfield, Curt Donner, of Hamilton, John (Jana) Donner, and Larry (Dita) Donner of Fairfield, and Teresa (Randy) Ray, of Olathe, Kansas; thirteen grandchildren, Katrina, Jared, Nicholas, Chad, Joel, Alison, Cory, Cassandra, Cara, Joshua, Hanna, Rachel, and Kristie; two great grandchildren, Justin and Ashley; two sisters, Delores Zins and Vera Dice; a brother, Donald Donner.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 5-7:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Fairfield Civitan Club c/o Nancy White, 44 Dow Ct. Fairfield, OH 45014.
