BIEKER, Richard J. age 84 of Hamilton died March 25, 2010, at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 6, 1926, the son of Louis and Mary (Beckman) Bieker, and was a 1944 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. He attended Xavier University, and then served in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII. He worked as a plant photographer for National Lead, for twenty years, was a carpenter for Pease Door Co., and later worked for the Hamilton City Schools retiring in 1987.

He married Wanda Maier in 1953 and to this union three children were born, David Bieker of Hamilton, Michael (Debbie) Bieker of Fairfield, and Amy Celesti of Mason. Other survivors include five grandchildren, Conner Bieker, Amber, Erin, Michael, and Nicholas Celesti; two sisters, Alberta Kollstedt and Betty Gardner; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Bieker.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Adrian and Louis "Bud" Bieker; a sister, Helen Snyder.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 am Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Fr. Larry Tharp officiating, followed by burial in Butler County Memorial Park.
