GABRIELSON, Richard O. age 85 of Fairfield died Friday, May 25, 2012, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Norwalk, Connecticut on January 13, 1927, the son of Martin and Edith (Johnson) Gabrielson, and was a veteran of the United States Navy and Air Force. Richard was a graduate of Purdue University. On February 21, 1957, in Washington D.C. he married Norene Craig. Mr. Gabrielson worked at Blake and Johnson, Pheoll Manufacturing, and Senior Life Style Management Company in Cincinnati. He enjoyed golf, helping senior citizens, listening to classical music, daily trips to the Lane Public Library, and watching old movies.

Survivors include his wife, Norene; two daughters, Diane Gabrielson of Morrow, Ohio and Pamela (Peter) Pellizzari of Cary, Illinois; three grandchildren, Loren Lascon, Julia Pellizzari, Peter Pellizzari; one great-grandchild, Gianna Lascon.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marty and Pete Gabrielson.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Rev. Valerie Waibel officiating, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm Wednesday in the funeral home.
