Obituary

JUSTICE, Richard A., age 74 of Fairfield, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on December 2, 1931, the son of Rueben and Mabel (Miller) Justice and was a 1949 graduate of Hamilton High School. He served in the US Marine Corps, during the Korean War. He worked as machinist at Mosler Safe Co., for twenty-five years, as well as operating Barney's Bar, along with his wife, retiring in December of 2005. He was a life member of the VFW # 1069. An avid baseball fan, he enjoyed the Cincinnati Red's and being involved in Lindenwald Youth Baseball as a coach, during his sons youth. He sponsored a 70 and older softball team through Barney's Bar.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Marjorie, of Fairfield; four children, Vicki (Frank) Whitaker, Tim (Anna) Justice, Rich (Lorrie) Justice, and Missy Scott, all of Hamilton; three stepchildren, Mary Kay McWhorter, of Hamilton, Richard Baker of Indian Springs, and Randy Baker, of Hamilton; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Greg Baker officiating, followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 5-8:00PM Wednesday in the funeral Home.
