KORB, Richard "Dick", age 77 of Hamilton, died Monday, September 26, 2005 in Ft. Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 4, 1928, the son of George and Henrietta (Kurry) Korb. He was a 1942 graduate of St. Peter School, 1946 Graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School, and a 1952 graduate of Xavier University. On November 19, 1960, in St. Joseph Church, he married Geraldine Lander and she preceded him in death on May 5, 1977. Mr. Korb had worked as a purchasing agent for Fiberglass Evercoat, for fifteen years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Ann Church, B.P.O.E. # 93, and the Xavier Alumni Association. An outstanding basketball player at Hamilton Catholic High School and Xavier University, he was inducted into the Badin High School Sports Hall of Fame, in 2004.

Survivors include his son, Kevin and wife Candy Korb, of Alexandria, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Derrick, Chelsey, Arizona, Gunner, and Xavier Korb; a sister, Mary Joe Staarmann, of Hamilton, a dear friend, Pat Tanner of Fairfield.

Prayers will be offered at 11:00AM Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM Friday in St. Ann Church. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00AM Friday in the funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to St. Ann Church Air Conditioning Fund.
