MARCUM, Richard C., age 78 of Fairfield, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007 in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 22, 1929 the son of William and Martha (Krause) Marcum. In 1949 he married MaDonna M. Rohrkemper and she preceded him in death in 1976. He later married Geraldine Taylor in 1980. For many years, Mr. Marcum had worked for Wehr and French Bauer Dairies and later was owner/ operator of Marcum Trailer Sales in Millville, Ohio. Survivors include three children, James A. (Sarah) Marcum, of Woodway, TX, Frederick R. (Andrea) Marcum, of Hamilton, and Nancy M. (Kerry) Wilson, of Tampa, FL; five grandchildren, Matthew (Agnes), Joshua, and Zachary Marcum, Meg and Meredith Marcum.

Besides his first wife, MaDonna; he was also preceded in death by his parents, William and Martha Marcum.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Monday in Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield, with Rev. Larry Tharp officiating. Burial will be in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:00am Monday in the church. Zettler Funeral Home serving the family.
