KLINZING, Rita Marie age 86, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010. She was born in her Hamilton, Ohio home on October 5, 1923, the youngest of five daughters of George and Marie (Goeft) Burkart. She attended St. Ann School and Notre Dame High School. In July of 1945 she married William Klinzing. She was a loving homemaker, wife, and mother of five. Rita worked in the kitchen at Garfield High School after raising her family; learning to drive at age 52. She enjoyed simple little decorating items for her home and had been a resident of Wellington Manor since 2005. She enjoyed visiting with her family and good friend, Sada Reynolds.
She leaves one sister, Gertie (Don) McCaffrey of Hamilton; three surviving children, Terry (Peggy) Klinzing of Fairfield, Sheila (Fiancé Gary Salazar) Haid of Fairfield Township; and Dave (Debbie) Klinzing of Fairfield; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband; two children, Tom Klinzing and Barbara Motsinger; three sisters, Mary (Bob) Giuliano, Lucille (Ed) Reiter, and Helen (Ray) Schmitt.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 am Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd , Fairfield , Ohio 45014 , with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 am Wednesday in the Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Zettler Funeral Home is serving the family.
