WUEST, Rita M., age 85 of Hamilton, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Vitas Hospice in Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Hamilton, OH, on December 20, 1919, the daughter of Peter and Adelaide (Beck) Braun and was a 1937 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On March 24, 1945, in St Joseph Church, she married Albert J. Wuest and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1991. Mrs. Wuest was employed as a server at Wehr Dairy for ten years and later as a seamstress for Rebcor and Premier. A member of St. Peter Church, and the Altar Rosary Society, she also volunteered as a seamstress making baptismal gowns, repairing and decorating the priest's vestments.

Survivors include six children, Kenneth and Wanda Wuest, of Hamilton, Donald and Valaree Wuest, of Morehead City, N.C., Bonnie and Jerry Parks, Kathy and Larry Pelfrey, Gary and Kristy Wuest, and Mark and Jane Wuest all, of Hamilton; fourteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Drew Michael Wuest, in 1989; a brother, John Braun; a sister, Mary Renneker.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30AM, Monday, in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM Monday in St. Peter Church. Visitation will on Sunday from 2:00PM to 5:00PM in the funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
