ALLEN Jr., Robert Edgar age 92 of Hamilton passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016, at the Heartland of Woodridge. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on November 30, 1923, the son of Robert Edgar and Ida (McInturff) Allen. On July 6, 1957, in Hamilton, Ohio he married Elvira Bundy. Robert worked at Mosler Safe Company and American Standard retiring in 1985. He was a member of East River Rd. Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Elvira; two children, Dwayne Michael Allen and Sherry Lou Allen; three grandchildren, Eric Michael Allen, Brittany Nicole (Zach) Schulz, and Tyler Allen; three nephews, Benny Ray Allen, Lon Clayton Allen Jr., and Charles Allen; sisters-in-law, Georgia Allen, Bernice (Wilford) Powell, Jean McDaniel, and Jacqueline (Troy) Cotton; two brothers-in-law, Gil (LouAnn) Bundy, and Kenneth (Dawn) Bundy; numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lon Clayton Allen Sr.; niece, Carolyn Cooper; Brothers-in-law, Robert Young, Val Taylor, James Bundy, and Robert Bundy; father and mother-in-law, Roy and Sarah Jane Bundy.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Visitation will be from 2-3:00PM Friday in the funeral home.
