AMEND, Robert L. Jr. age 68 of Hamilton died Friday September 4, 2015 at his home. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 18, 1947 the son of Robert and June (Janson) Amend and served in the U.S. Army Security Agency. On August 25, 1966 he married Rosemary Pickett. Robert was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church and the K of C Father Butler Council. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary; three sons, Robert (Deborah) Amend of Finneytown, Ohio, Michael (Bethalynne) Amend and Jeremy (Elizabeth) Amend both of Hamilton; seven grandchildren; a sister, June Gordon; four brothers, Gregory (Sue) Amend, John (Fran) Amend, Jeffrey (Gene VanLeeuwen) Amend, and Larry Amend; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Ralph Gordon.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at 10:30am Friday in St. Peter in chains Church at Ridgelawn and Liberty Avenues. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30am Friday in the church. Online register book available at www.zettlerfuneralhome home.com
