BECKMAN, Robert M. (Bob) 70, of Louisville, KY and formerly of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 in Louisville, KY. Bob was born in Hamilton on December 20, 1948 to Donald and Marian (Imfeld) Beckman. He was a 1967 graduate of Badin High School. In 1968, he married the love of his life, Mary Ann McClung. They were blessed with three children, Brett, Ben and Lily. In 1983, Bob and his family moved to Louisville, KY, where he resided until his death.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann; his parents, Don and Marian Beckman; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sylvester (Sy) and Thelma (Boots) McClung; a brother-in-law, Richard (Dick) Tuley and a sister-in-law, Mary Beth (Betsy) Beckman.

Surviving him are his children, Brett (Denise), of Savannah, GA; Ben (Angie) and Lily (Timmy), both of Louisville; his seven brothers, Don (Marcie), Dave (Diane), Orrie (Deena), Steve (Melissa), Jeff, Terry (Jo Ann) and Mike (Barb) and his sister, Sheryl. Also surviving him are his sisters-in-law, Sylvia (Art) Kurtz, Phyllis Tuley and Jan Harmon; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bob will be especially missed by his favorite cousin, Steve Beckman.

Services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY 40218 from 3-8 pm.

Donations can be made in Bob's honor to Hospice of Louisville, Cedar Lake Lodge, ALS of Louisville or Spina Bifida Association of KY.
