DUERR, Robert P. age 86 of Hamilton died Monday, August 20, 2012, at the Butler County Care Facility. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 5, 1926, the son of William and Cosie (Jackson) Duerr, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during WWII. In 1958, in Dayton, Ohio he married Mary A. Clark. Mr. Duerr worked as a locomotive engineer for B & O Railroad for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; eight children, James P. Eads, Mary Schlueter, Lois Koos, Robert P. Duerr, Jeanne Taylor, Glenn, Carol, and Richard Duerr; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dan Eads; three brothers, Martin, Albert, and William Duerr.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 5, 2012, in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Fr. Paul Daggett officiating followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
