FARLEY, Robert Frank age 94, of Hamilton passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in Bradford Place. He was born on July 3, 1919, the son of Timothy and Emma Farley. On May 4, 1957, he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Zettler in St. Stephen's Church. He served our country in World War II in the United States Army Air Corp. He is a member of St. Peter in Chains Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; two sons, Thomas Farley and wife, Sonia, and Stephen Farley and wife, Sharon; a daughter, Roberta Chesnut and fiancé, Gary Simmons, six grandchildren: Matthew Farley and wife, Jennifer, Lindsey Lane and husband, Bill, Jennifer Cheek and husband, Robert, Kimberly Chesnut and fiancé Ryan Coleman, Stephanie Crouch and husband, Travis, and Christopher Chesnut; three step-grandchildren: Dale Velazquez and wife, Michelle, Jennifer Rogers, and Joshua Simpson and wife, Callie; six great-grandchildren: Valerie Coleman, Grace and Nathan Cheek, Ethan Farley, and Olivia and Adalynn Lane; four step-great-grandchildren: Milla Rogers, Allie and Allen Rogers, and Ryder Simpson.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan (Ayres) Farley,his parents and granddaughter, Kendra Ann Chesnut, three brothers, Stanley Farley of Indianapolis, Earl Farley of Millville, and Raymond Farley of Oakland, California, and two sisters, Lavern Henning of Hamilton and Anna Mae Benzing of Hamilton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12noon Saturday in the Chapel at Bradford Place, 1302 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013 , with Fr. James Wedig celebrant, followed by burial at St. Stephen's Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Chapel from 11:00am-12noon Saturday at the chapel. Zettler funeral home serving the family.
