GEYER, Robert E., age 76 of Hamilton, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 in Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Hamilton, OH on July 8, 1929, the son of Bernard and Olivia (Frisz) Geyer. On July 27, 1953, in St. Ann Church, her married Mary M. Toerner and she preceded him in death on January 6, 1998. Mr. Geyer was a Pattern Maker, working at Black and Clawson, Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton, and finally General Motors, retiring from there, in 1993. He was a life Member of the Monkey Mutual Aid Society.
Survivors include five children, Marilyn and (Jimmie) Richardson, of Yorktown, IN, Carolyn (Don) Miller, of Ross, OH, Susan (John) Bolser, of Okeana, OH, Mary Beth (Marty) Ludwig, and Olivia Geyer, both of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren, Beth Miller, Tommy Geyer, Martin and Christine Ludwig; four brothers, Bernard, Richard, John, and James Geyer; a sister, Rosemary Rickling; a daughter-in-law, Mary Geyer.
Besides his wife, he was also preceded in death by two sons, Paul in 1994, and Chuck in 2004; and a sister, Marilyn Geyer.
Prayers will be offered at 9:30AM Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM Monday, in Queen of Peace Church. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4:00PM Sunday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
