LENTZ, Robert G. age 92 of Fairfield, Ohio died Sunday October 23, 2016 in Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 28, 1924 the son of George H. and Josephine L. (Fritz) Lentz and was a 1943 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. Mr. Lentz was a veteran serving in the US Army from 1948 – 1951. He had worked as a draftsman for Hamilton Tool and Western States and later was an automobile salesman for several area dealerships. Bob was an artist throughout his life. After retirement he was a full time artist creating caricatures, paintings, store fronts and pen and ink sketches. He was a member of the K of C Father Butler Council and the VFW # 7670.

Survivors include a son, Andrew R. Lentz of Hamilton; a daughter Karen (Rick) Hodge of Bonifay, Florida; two grandchildren, Shawn and Daniel Parsley; dear friends Estill and Mary Pendergrass; Tyler and Caitlin Paraz to whom he was known as "Grandpa Bob".

Prayers will be offered at 10:00am Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am Friday in Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 am Friday at the funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to VFW Post #7670.
