Robert Wroot, age 82 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday September 13, 2023 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 27, 1940 the son of George R. and Edith A. (Bechtol) Wroot. On April 27, 1967 in Oxford, Ohio he married Prescova Woods. He was a veteran serving in the US Airforce. Robert was a union electrician and was employed by the City of Hamilton for 26 years. A member of the IBEW Local 648 he also was an instructor in the electrician's apprenticeship program for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, Prescova; two children, Shelley Wroot and Michael (Tammy) Wroot; two grandchildren, Tanner and Troy Wroot.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, George R. Wroot Jr. and James Wroot; two sisters, Shirley Theiss and Pamela Pater.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday September 18, 2023 in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park with Military Honors.
