KELHOFFER, Roberta age 91 of Hamilton, Ohio died Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Westover Retirement Community. She was born in Corbin, Kentucky on July 3, 1923 the daughter of Alex and Margaret (Steward) Phelps. On December 8, 1950, in Liberty, Indiana, she married Herman D. Kelhoffer and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2002. Mrs. Kelhoffer had worked as a seamstress for Leshner Corporation for twenty-five years, retiring in 1993. Roberta enjoyed flower gardening and with her husband, she raised a produce garden and operated a vegetable stand on Nilles Rd in Fairfield. She was an avid bingo player, and bowler, winning a Pontiac Tempest in a bowling tournament against 13 men at Linden Lanes in 1966.
Survivors include her children, David Kelhoffer of Hamilton and Leslie Kelhoffer of Hanover Township; a special friend, Sue Rosenbalm of Hanover Township.
Besides her husband, Herman, she was also preceded in death by a son, Dwight H. Kelhoffer on May 28, 1991; seven brothers and a sister.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by burial in Somerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11:00AM Friday in the funeral home. Online register book is available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
