Spahn, Roberta "Jackie", age 60, of Hamilton, died Friday, May 19, 2006 in her home. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on January 3, 1946, the daughter of Bob and Dorothy (Keller) Bayman and raised by Bob and Helen (Eggler) Bayman, and was 1964 graduate of Fairfield High School. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles F. Spahn in 2003. Mrs. Spahn was an employee of Ohio Casualty Insurance Co., for thirty-two years, retiring in 1996. An avid bingo player, she also enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. Prior to her husbands' death, they enjoyed boating, fishing and the outdoors together. Roberta was a "gentle soul" and anyone who met her appreciated her selfless, caring way.

Survivors include two children, Francis (Brenda) Spahn, Rosie (Jeff) Mann; Four step children, Kristine Fiocca, David (Shawna) Spahn, Tracey and Brad Spahn; two sisters, Christine Weber, of Warren, OH and Carol Fischer of Boca Raton, FL; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces, nephews; a special sister-in-law, Barbie Lewis; other family members and friends.

The children wish to thank Roberta's sister Chrissy, for her loving care, during our mothers' illness. Special thanks to Hospice of Hamilton, Kathy Fleig R.N. and Lori Gates, for their love and thoughtful care.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Dr. John Lewis officiating, followed by burial in St. Stephen Cemetery.
