ELLIOTT, Ronald L. age 77 of Fairfield Township died Monday, February 28, 2011, in Mercy Hospital in Fairfield. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 9, 1934, the son of Edward and Alice Virginia (Kelley) Elliott and was a veteran of the United States Army. On August 21, 1954, in St. Margaret Mary in North College Hill, he married Nancy Edwards. Mr. Elliott worked as a life insurance agent for Western and Southern for thirty years retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church, the Knights of Columbus Father Butler Council, and a member of the "ACES" of the church.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy; six children, M. Jennifer Rhoads (Steve), Todd (Connie), Ronald (Joe), Andrew (Amy), Amy (Terry) Nusky, and Cindy (John) Spoerl; twelve grandchildren, Natalie, Nick, Lindy, Lindsey, Jake, Sam, Tyler, Gage, Sarah, Audrey, Emily, and Rachel.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Irene Lipps.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30 am Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Friday in St. Julie Billiart Church with Fr. Michael Pucke celebrant. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
