GOERTEMILLER (Jendrek), Rosalie Carroll age 83 of Hamilton passed away Monday, March 14, 2011, at Westover Retirement Home with her family at her side. Rosalie was born to Frank J. and A. Gertrude (Helldorfer) Jendrek in Baltimore Md. Rosalie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert Goertemiller, her son Joseph (Julia) Goertemiller and daughter Dr. Catherine (Martin) Carrigan and 4 grand children Cliff, Clay, Hannah and Mary.

A 1945 graduate of Hamilton High School and 1949 Graduate of Miami University where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. Rosalie taught Art in Hamilton for many years at Hamilton High School, Garfield High School and later St. Veronica's, Queen of Peace and St. Julie Billiart Catholic elementary schools. Rosalie was a gifted artist and devoted teacher. She was very proud to be inducted into the Hamilton High School Fine Arts Hall of Fame. Her art work won many awards but she was most proud of the many awards and artistic successes of her students.

The family wishes to sincerely thank the wonderful and devoted staff at Westover Retirement Community. Their love and devotion made her last few years something to remember with joy and laughter.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30 am Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Thursday in St. Julie Billiart Church. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Donations in Rosalie's Honor can be made to St. Julie Billiart Parish and the Colonial Foundation, care of Westover Retirement Center.
