LIVELY, Roselyn L. age 77 passed away Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010 at Heartland of Woodridge at 3:58 pm. She was born in Hamilton on September 29, 1932, the daughter of Leonard and Beatrice (McFarland) Lively. Educated in the Hamilton City Schools, she was a secretary for the Mosler Safe Company for 46 years, working for the same boss 22 of those years. After retirement she was a hospital volunteer and an active member of the Sterling Silvers. An ardent democrat, fluent in Spanish, she enjoyed American history, travel, crochet, and dogs. A member of Westwood Presbyterian Church, she had belonged to First UCC and St. John's UCC where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school, and served as deaconess.

She is survived by a sister Helen F. Hall of Fairfield; Brothers Gene Lively of Sun City, AZ, and David Lively, sister-in-law Tervanda Lively of Burbank, CA; nephews Joe (Priscilla) Krause of Hamilton; Ralph (Patricia) Hall of Papillion, NE; Eugene Lively of Corinth, TX; nieces Lisa (Rob) Hand of Reston, VA; Ellen (Sam) Sippel of Fairfield; Laura Lively of Cathedral City, CA; many other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dog, Bubba.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ruth Hodge and Maxine Krause; brothers-in law, Jay Hodge, Gene Krause, and Ralph Hall; sister-in-law, Betty Lively; and her beloved bichon, Katie.

The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Blanchard, Heartland of Woodridge, and Heartland of Hospice for the compassionate care of their loved one.

Funeral services will be offered at 11:00 am Friday in the Westwood Presbyterian Church 1068 Stahlheber Road with Rev. Joshua Long officiating, followed by burial in Darrtown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 am Friday in the church. Memorials may be made to Westwood Presbyterian Church, PAWS, or the American Cancer Society. Zettler Funeral Home Inc is serving the family.
