PROTZMAN, Ruby May, age 94, formerly of N "E" street, currently a fourteen year resident at the Butler County Care Facility, died there Friday, September 8, 2006. She was born in Hamilton, OH on April 18, 1912, the daughter of John and Regina (Chafin) Craycraft and attended Hamilton Public Schools. On December 18, 1929, in Newport, KY, she married Stanley Protzman and he preceded her in death on June 7, 1980. She was a member of Disciples Christian Church.

Survivors include four sons, Stanley and wife Bonnie, and John and wife Lois, both of Hamilton, Martin, of Cincinnati, Michael, of Hamilton; three daughters, Mrs. Joetta Blower, of Middletown, Mrs. Janet Fields, of Hamilton, and Mrs. Darlene (Robert) Martin, of Cincinnati; twenty grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

The family would like to express their thanks to the nurses and staff of the Butler County Care Facility, for providing many years of excellent care.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Dan Knisley officiating, followed by burial in Rose hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 1-2:00PM Monday at the funeral home.
