Obituary

SCHWARTZ, Rudolph A. "Rudy" age 81 of Hamilton passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Doverwood Village. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 4, 1935, the son of Joseph H. and Anna M. (Seither) Schwartz and was a 1954 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. On November 24, 1962, he married Valerie M. Lynn and she preceded him in death on February 12, 1988. Rudy was an electrical draftsman for Hamilton Tool from 1972-1991. Mr. Schwartz was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church and 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Father Butler Council. Heaven gained a faithful, loving, considerate, peaceful, patient angel who had a heart of gold, a gentle smile, and a beautiful sense of humor. He enjoyed time spent with his family, especially attending Lynn and Lizzy's dance recitals and theater performances. Dad also enjoyed time outside on his tractor, watching British sitcoms with Adrian and playing cards with family. He always held onto the queen of hearts, but he will always be the king of our hearts. After 28 years, we know you are enjoying a beautiful reunion in heaven with Mom. God bless you, Dad. We will always love you.

He was a devoted father to two children, Adrian A. Schwartz and JoAnn (Tony) Schutte; loving grandfather of Lynn and Lizzy Schutte; dear friend to Viola Brockman.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30AM Saturday, November 26, 2016, in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM Saturday in St. Julie Billiart Church with Fr. Michael Pucke celebrant. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8:00PM Friday in the funeral home with Knights of Columbus services at 7:00PM.
