LAWS, Russell G., age 84 of Hamilton died Thursday February 23, 2012 at his home. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 30, 1927 the son of Owen and Jessie (Powers) Laws and served in the US Army during WWII. Russell had worked as an assembler/machinist for Herring-Hall and Diebold, for thirty-nine years, retiring in 1985. He was a past president of the Safe Workers Association Chapter # 1.

Survivors include a niece, Kimberly (Ben) Leavell, of Fairfield; a nephew, Robert (Charlene) Laws Jr., of London, Kentucky; great nieces, Marisa Brandenburg, Ashley and Samantha Leavell; and several close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Laws.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Minister Rodney Jones officiating followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park.
