JOST, Ruth C. age 98 of Hamilton died Monday July 20, 2015 in Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 6, 1916 the daughter of Carl and Carrie (Falk) Ulm. On April 26, 1939 in St. Ann Church she married Frank A. Jost and he preceded her in death on July 5, 1983. Ruth was a member of St. Ann Church and the Altar Rosary Society.

Survivors include three children, James (Betty) Jost, Joan Jost and Tom (Darlene) Jost; thirteen grandchildren, Diane (Joel) Griggs, Mike and Gary Jost, Steve (Suk) Landrum, Sharon Landrum, Ann (Steve) Haller, Danny(Sharon) Landrum, Cathy (Greg) Bowker, Greg Landrum, Suellen Landrum, Carrie (Dude) Harper, Rebecca and Jennifer Jost; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters, Sister Mary Joseph, Little Sisters of the Poor, and Elizabeth Ulm.

Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Landrum in 1987; a brother, Paul Ulm; two sisters, Helen Bendix, and Nettie Schneider.

The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Richard Zettler, Dr. Silvia Pastor, Fr. Larry Tharp and the Hamilton Paramedics for the kindness and care they provided.

Prayers will be offered at 10:00am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am Wednesday in St. Ann Church with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00am Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the St. Ann Church Capital Fund.
