KEHR, Ruth A. age 98 of Hamilton died Monday, December 12, 2011, at Hawthorne Glen Nursing Home. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 4, 1913, the daughter of Christian and Barbara (Lindner) Vogel and was a 1931 graduate of Fairfield High School. On August 2, 1933, in Zion Lutheran Church, she married Stanley J. Kehr and he preceded her in death on September 23, 1994. Mrs. Kehr was involved in the family farm with her husband Stanley for over fifty years. She was a life member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, baptized, confirmed, and married there. Ruth was also a member of the Butler County Farm Bureau.
Survivors include a son, Lester (Nancy) Kehr of Middletown; a daughter, Ann Morgan of Eaton; three grandchildren, Beth (Jim) Meeks, Todd (Marie) Kehr, and Troy (Erin) Kehr; ten great-grandchildren, Garrett and Trevor Kehr, Grady, Gracie, and Jackson Kehr, Clay, Carter, and Carson Conrad, Katelyn and Josey Meeks; grandson-in-law, Mike Conrad.
Besides her husband, Stanley, she was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Fred Morgan; granddaughter Tina Kehr Conrad; brother, Earl Vogel; sister-in-law, Martha Vogel.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Pastor Timothy Landers officiating followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2:00pm Thursday in the funeral home.
