SNIVELY, Scott L., age 54, of Hamilton, died Saturday, December 23, 2006 at his home. He was born in Hamilton, OH, on December 22, 1952, the son of George I. and Maxine (Burnam) Snively. On December 16, 1972, in Middletown, OH, he married Joni McGuire. Mr. Snively was an electrician, employed by the City of Hamilton Power plant, until retirement in 2005. He was a member of the IBEW # 648. The time Scott spent with his wife and family was very important, especially time spent with his grandchildren. He enjoyed woodworking, trips to Myrtle Beach and his dog Lucy.

Survivors include his wife, Joni; two children, Tim (Megan) Snively, of Trenton, OH, Sara Snively (Fiancée Joe Teed), of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Wyatt and Madison Snively; a sister, Debbie Burkhardt, of Hamilton; a brother, Kelly (Debbie) Snively, of Sabina, OH; special cousins, Doug and Debbie Stahlheber.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Lois Snively, and Robert and Gertrude Rathgens.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006 in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Rev. Mike Gabbard officiating. Burial will be in Butler Co. Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00AM-12noon Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or the Seven Mile Life Squad.
