Stephen J. Baden age 55 of Quincy, IL passed away Sunday April 7, 2024 at his home in Quincy, Illinois. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 26, 1968 the son of Dr. James P. and Marcia (Stafford) Baden. He was a graduate of Stephen T. Badin High School, Xavier University and finished his masters in Clinical Psychology at Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, California. He was a loving son and brother. Many knew him as an avid fan of soccer, rowing and hunting. He spent the majority of his time in recent years volunteering for the Red Cross and helping those in need.

Survivors include his father, Dr James P. Baden and wife Sheila; a brother, Michael (Heather) Baden; a sister Whitney (Joe) Oliver; six nieces and nephews, J. Logan Oliver, Darby Oliver, Hunter Baden, Tatum Oliver, Dedrick Baden, Rigley Baden; 1 aunt, 1 uncle and many beloved cousins. Stephen is also preceded in death by his mother, Marcia S. Baden.

The family will have a private service at St. Stephen Cemetery Mausoleum, 1314 Greenwood Ave. Hamilton, OH  45011, with Zettler Funeral Home in charge of services.
