BOKACH, Susan K age 73 of Fairfield TWP, Ohio passed away Friday December 3,
2021 at Bethesda North Hospital. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 11, 1948
the daughter of Roger and Meda (Freeman) Dufficy. On December 4, 1994 she married
John J. Bokach and he preceded her in death on May 24, 2006
Susan worked in the public sector for many years; Hamilton Municipal Court and the Hamilton Health
Dept. Sue loved reading and walking and she did both daily. She never met a stranger and
loved everyone as family. She was an advocate for animals and took in and cared for
many dogs and cats over the years. She enjoyed traveling and has been all over the world
but her favorite place was Hawaii. She spent much of her time chatting and visiting with
friends, especially her classmates from Notre Dame High School, class of '66.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie (Steve) Jackson, and Mary (Paul) Templin; two
grand daughters, Elaina and Alyssa Jackson; her companion, Patrick D. Keefe; many
special cousins, and lifelong friend, Melanie Miller.
Preceded in death by first husband, Thomas W. Wirsch, her parents, and her special cousins Lois Ramsey, Bee Silva, and Sandy
Williams.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6:00PM Friday December 10, 2021 in St.
Maximilian Kolbe Church, 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd. Visitation will be from 3:00-
6:00PM Friday in the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In
lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Animal Friends Humane Society.
