GRIESSMANN, Susan J., Age 56 died Saturday, June 14, 2008 in Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on November 29, 1951, the daughter of Vernon and Margaret (Davis) Griessmann, and was a 1970 graduate of Garfield High School. Ms. Griessmann was a forklift operator for twenty two years for Dyna-Con Packaging and held every office in the United Paper Workers Union Local #1963. Sue was a member of the Lindenwald United Methodist Church. She was an avid bowler for fifteen years in the Saturday night mixed League at Columbia lanes, and the Sunday BJ Memorial League, for thirty-five years. Sue was a blood donor and was five pints short of donating ten gallons.
Survivors include one brother, Derrick (Christine) Griessmann of Salem Indiana; one niece, Jeanetta (Mike) Newsome; one nephew, Keith Griessmann; a great niece, Passion Newsome; Very dear friends and neighbors, Jean Yordy, Kathy and Andy Cupp, Ed and Frances Rue; and her bowling family in the Sunday league.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Rev. Edwin Beck officiating, followed by burial in Butler County Memorial Park.
