BARNETT, Thelma age 83 of Fairfield, was called home to be with the Lord Friday, October 2, 2009 in Home at Hearthstone, Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born in Oneida, Tennessee on November 29, 1925 the daughter of Gorman and Cora (Phillips) Keaton. On September 9, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio she married Charles W. Barnett. Mrs. Barnett was a member of the Winton Road First Church of God.
Leaving to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles; six children, Linda (Paul) Webb of Ross Township, Beverly (Timothy) Crist, of Fairfield, Kathie Bowling, of Hamilton, Michael Barnett, of Fairfield, Deborah (Ron) Kuhn, of Hamilton, and Jeffrey (Geralyn) Barnett, of Cincinnati; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Barnett of Fairfield; two step-daughters, Joyce (Tom) Berrier of Flordia, Judy (George) Doutre of Michigan; twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren; several special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary and Charlie Barnett; a son-in-law, Bill Bowling; a great granddaughter, Ava Garrison; five brothers and two sisters.
The family wishes to express their special thanks to Destiny Hospice and very special thanks to the entire staff of Home at Hearthstone.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Pastor Brian Buriff officiating, followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park.
