HERSHNER, Theodore Jr., age 89 of Hamilton, went home to be with the Lord and others that preceded him, Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Hospice of Hamilton in Sunrise Assisted Living Center. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 16, 1917 the son of Theodore E. and Irene (Beiser) Hershner and served in the US Army during WWII. On May 30, 1954 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, he married E. Ann Moore. Mr. Hershner had been a steel worker at Southwestern Ohio Steel, for seventeen years, retiring in 1984. He later worked for Kings Island and finally worked as a crossing guard for Hamilton City Schools.
Survivors include his wife, E. Ann Hershner, seven children, Ken (Mary) Hershner, Baltimore, Maryland, Connie (Dick Weber) Hubbard, of Forest Park, Kathy (Terry) Marsh, of Baltimore, Maryland, Randy (Patty) Peddicord, Lee (Phyllis) Peddicord, both of Hamilton, Janet (Allan) Johani, of Wilmington, and Jamissa (Curtis) Lawson, of Hamilton; seventeen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; two brothers, Paul and Fred Hershner.
Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by five brothers, Neil, Calvin, Penny, James, and Wilson Hershner.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Pastor Jimmy Asher officiating, followed by entombment in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
