HEROLD, Thomas L. age 80 of Hamilton, Ohio died Saturday November 9, 2013 at his home. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 30, 1932 the son of Carl E. and Irma (Getz) Herold and was a 1950 graduate of Hamilton High School. Tom served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1952, in Korea, as a high speed radio operator, transmitting and receiving messages using International Morse Code. On February 2, 1954 he married Betty Cook. He later married Christina Payne on February 18, 1972. He had worked as a salesman retiring in 1998.
Survivors include his wife Christina; four children, James Herold, Robin (Pete) Almond, Kelley Phillips, and Jill (Ayran) Widmer; nine grandchildren who he loved very much; three sisters, Audri (Bill) Hilsmier, Margie (Ted) Hershner, and Geri Meyers; two brothers, James (Martha) Herold, and Jacque Herold.

He was preceded in death by, his parents; a sister, Irma Justice; a brother Robert Herold; a granddaughter Trinity; and his first wife Betty.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Pastor Kim Katterheinrich officiating, followed by burial in St. Aloysius cemetery.
