Thomas W. McGrath age 77 of Hamilton passed away Saturday February 8, 2025 at Kettering
Health Hamilton. He was born in Hamiton, Ohio on August 30, 1947 the son of William and
Hilda (Schreck) McGrath. On November 25, 1972, in St. Joseph Church he married Ann C.
Getz.
He was preceded death by his parents; brothers Jim McGrath and Jack McGrath; nephew Pat
McGrath and Greg McGrath.
He was a member of the K of C Father Butler Council 3 rd and 4 th degree, participated in the K of
C Bowling league and was a member of the Lindenwald Kiwanis of Hamilton and Fairfield. He is
a veteran of The United Sates Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; Brothers, Jerry (Joyce) and Tim (Linda) McGrath; nieces and
nephews Sara, Lauren, Michelle, Chris, Danny, Mike, Gary; close friends, Jason Smith, Jaymi,
Tyler, and Trey Goodman, Jim, Jake, and Elena Thier.
Tom enjoyed many hobbies during his lifetime; bowling, golf, playing cards and coaching the
kids in baseball. He loved kids and enjoyed spending time with them, He was Uncle Tom to so
many.
Funeral services will be held at 10am Thursday February 13, 2025 in the Zettler Funeral Home,
27646 Pleasant Ave. followed by entombment in St. Stephen Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation
will be from 6-8pm Wednesday February 12, 2025 with K of C 3 rd and 4 th degree prayers service
at 7:30PM.
