CROUCH, Velma F. age 87 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2018, at Doverwood Village in Fairfield Township. She was born in Tate Township of Clermont County, Ohio on February 9, 1931, the daughter of Clarence and Grace (Stewart) Daugherty and was a 1949 graduate of Williamsburg High School. On October 16, 1953, she married Paul Crouch in Hamilton. Following their divorce in 1977, he preceded her in death on March 6, 1988.
Following Williamsburg, she lived for many years in the Lindenwald section of Hamilton and Fairfield, working at Western & Southern, General Electric, and Ohio Casualty insurance company. Velma enjoyed knitting and sewing and also worked as a seamstress in Gentry Shops men's clothing store. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her pet cats and dog. Until most recently, Velma lived in Hillsboro, Ohio
Survivors include her only child and son, Gary Crouch of Batavia; three grandchildren, Megan (David) Bettle, Candice (Nick) Lilje, and Adam Crouch; five great-grandchildren, Zoe, Zander, and Zavier Bettle, Addie and Calvin Lilje; and a sister, Mary Evelyn (Daugherty) Rolf.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to her numerous devoted caregivers.
A memorial service will be celebrated at the convenience of the family.
