WALTHER, Viola P. age 95 formerly of Oxford, Ohio died Monday, August 20, 2012, at the Arbor Trace Care Facility in Richmond, Indiana. She was born in Butler County, Ohio on August 11, 1917, the daughter of Adam and Hilda (Vogel) Mehl. On April 27, 1938, in Hamilton she married Delmar M. Walther and he preceded her in death on August 22, 1989. Viola was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, the Butler County Farm Bureau, 4 H leader, a member of Pals and Priscilla clubs, and a Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include a son, Dale A. (Beverly) Walther; two daughters, Janet (Charles) Menke and Carol Stewart; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Walther; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Delmar, she was also preceded in death by a son, Robert N. Walther; a sister, Margaret Hogan and a brother, Robert Mehl.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Rev. David Miller officiating, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
