LEYRER, Violet M., age 75 of Hamilton, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006 in Vitas Hospice/Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 30, 1930, the daughter of Earl and Mary (Pross) Nuneviller. A 1953 graduate of the Hahnemann Nursing College, she worked as a supervisor at Hahnemann Hospital, prior to marriage. In 1954, in Haverstown, PA, she married Dr. Ralph H. Leyrer M.D. and he preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 1980. Mrs. Leyrer was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and the Ladies Aid, of the church.

Survivors include 6 children, Barbara (Keith) Hedric, of Springboro, OH, Ralph Leyrer Jr., of Macon, N.C., Chuck (Judy) Leyrer, of Cary, N.C., David (Gina) Leyrer, of Zachary, Louisiana, Don (Joni) Leyrer, of Grand Rapids, MI, and Michael Leyrer, of Hamilton, OH; nine grandchildren, Matt, Mark, Kathryn, Stephanie, Jacqueline, Sam, Jeff, Grace, and Anna.

Besides his her husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Nuneviller.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Monday in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1285 Main St., Hamilton, OH, with Pastor Kenneth Kueker officiating, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
