REASCH, Walter "Rick" Jr., age 84 of Fairfield, died Friday, January 16, 2009 in Tri County Extended Care Center. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 20, 1924 the son of Walter R. and Marie (Reigert) Reasch. On July 6, 1946 in Hamilton, Ohio, he married Elenora E. Dunaway. Mr. Reasch served in the US Army during WWII with the 101st Airborn Division. He had worked as an assembler for the Economy Pump Co., for sixteen years, and later for the GM Detroit Diesel Plant, in Dayton, Ohio, retiring in 1986.

Survivors include his wife, Elenora; a son Richard (LaDonna) Reasch, of Fairfield, Ohio; a daughter, Linda (Peter) Cannons, of West Sussex, England; four grandchildren, Todd R. (Liz) Reasch, Deidre Reasch, Cassandra Canupp, and Richard Crowhurst; five great grandchildren, Austen, Logan, Teagan, Hueston, and Noah; a brother, Harry Reasch; a sister-in-law, Mary Reasch.

Besides his parent, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and Marion Reasch.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Fr. Stephen Mondiek of St. Ann Church officiating, followed by burial in St. Stephen Cemetery.
