GOERTEMILLER, William A. age 90 of Hamilton, passed away Thursday December 24, 2015 at Doverwood Village. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 20, 1925 the son of Stanley and Helen (Wiegand) Goertemiller and was a 1943 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. Bill served in the US Navy during WWII. In 1949 he married Mary Catherine Flaig and she preceded him in death in 1977. He later married Marie Bowman in 1979. He had worked as an assembler for the Mosler Safe Company, for forty-three years, retiring in 1989.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; three children, Thomas (Marta) Goertemiller of Indianapolis, Indiana, Peggy (David) Quinlivan, of Salt Lake City, Utah and Timothy (Donna) Goertemiller of Pickerington, Ohio; seven grandchildren Grandchildren:
Rebecca Goertemiller, Gretchen Scoggins, Rachel Goertemiller, Erik Goertemiller, Katherine Quinlivan, Heather Goertemiller, Justin Goertemiller; Great Grandchildren,
Connor Scoggins, Riley Scoggins, Reagan Scoggins, Timothy Goertemiller.

Besides his first wife Mary Catherine, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Bob Goertemiller and a sister, Charlene Barnhorn.

Prayers will be offered at 10:00am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am Wednesday in St. Peter Church.
