WELLINGHOFF, William R. age 90 of Hamilton died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 8, 1921, the son of William H. and Mary (Rauch) Wellinghoff, and was a 1950 graduate of Berkley University. Mr. Wellinghoff was a veteran of the United States Army having served during WWII. He was employed by Fisher Body Hamilton plant retiring in 1986. William was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church.

Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Luff of Hamilton; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard "Bud" Wellinghoff; seven sisters, Ceil Robinson, Neil Wolpert, Ruth Maybury, Clarice, Mary Ann, Cornelia, and Margaret Wellinghoff.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Tuesday in St. Julie Billiart Church with Fr. Michael Pucke celebrant. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 pm Monday in the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Hamilton.
